NCGPT is monitoring evolving advice related to COVID-19 and is committed to supporting the Primary Care workforce during this emerging public health emergency, whilst still providing access to high quality, locally clinically relevant education.

We have been consulting closely with North Coast Primary Health Network about delivery of Healthy North Coast Workforce events in the coming months.

To keep our participants safe we are implementing the following measures at upcoming events:

Hand Hygiene

Hand sanitizing stations will be available at the registration desk.

Social Distancing

Venues will configure rooms to allow for social distancing.

Limit Participation

Advising participants not to attend if they are:

  • ill with a respiratory illness and fever; or
  • have been overseas within the last 14 days; or
  • may have been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case.

Webinars

Introducing video capability where possible and appropraite in the April - June quarter.

We are closely monitoring communications provided by the Commonwealth Department of Health and the Chief Medical Officer of Australia and will continue to adjust or approach according to the most current advice.
